Mister Coney has very good coney dogs and chili in a newly remodeled restaurant which is nice and comfortable. Their food is affordable and tasty.

This place was totally on point. We got the Coney dogs with cheese, a pork tenderloin sandwich and some cheese fries. The dogs were great, especially for the price, but the cheese could have been a little more melted. The PT was good size and was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crisp to it. And the cheese fries? Bomb. Crispy, hot shoestring fries covered in a cheese sauce the could probably make erasers taste good. The service was excellent. Our server, Kayla, was very helpful and attentive. I had a new soda before I even got halfway through the first one and she even came back twice just to make sure everything was good. In all, this place was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it to anyone craving a good old fashioned coney dog.

I ate too many cold hot dogs from the one downtown........Now Mr. Coney NEVER . EVA get cold dogs here. Best coneys , fries and tenderloins in town..Nice people, fast friendly service everytime we stop..No leftover fries here..Everything made to order..Well maybe except the huge simmering pot of coney sauce.....YUMMMMMY food.

If you were born in Fort Wayne, you might like the coneys here. The chili is more of a hamburger water consistency, which is flicked on each dog with a spoon. Creepy. There aren't many good options for coneys in Fort Wayne, but the downtown one has history.... That's about it.

Hats off to Mr Coney. They have outlasted seven plus restaurants. Three next door. And four of them on the other side of the street! This is a testament to the quality of food that this restaurant has constantly produced over the years. More so than I think the one that was reviewed by this Sunday's newspaper critic called "on the menu"? Well everybody has heard of "The Moosewood"? The critic correctly pointed out that the buildings "third" occupant in ten years (the current), had done some interior decorating. The location is in a very desirable part on Dupont road, and will insure that rich people who don't want to explore the city will show up. Mostly what I like about this place is the mix of people who go here. People who drive B.M.W.'s Blue collar workers with a sprinkling of bikers. Law enforcement also takes their brakes there. They know the town. Mr. Coney, is nostalgic for me. Best coney dogs i've ever had, nothing compares!! Been going there since I was a little girl. It is so greasy, but really, if you're stopping in for a Coney dog you should be expecting that. So glad it hasn't closed, and hope it never does!
